But if anyone is compelled by necessity without being deliberate or transgressing, then indeed, yoursg Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Bestowing of mercy.

Say, “I cannot find anything forbidden to one who eats from what has been revealed... Only the flesh of a dead animal, spilled blood, the flesh of swine – for indeed, it is impure – and that which has been slaughtered in the name of one other than Allah, with the hands of one with a corrupt faith... Say to them O Muhammad: "I do not find among the divine ordinances inspired to me an act prohibiting an article of food consumed by mankind unless it be, a permitted animal found dead –carrion- or blood streaming from an animal or the flesh of swine; this is impure and unclean food. There is also the permitted animal slaughtered under the invocation of a name other than that of Allah. But under compelling circumstances and not in transgression shall Allah admit of relaxation; Allah is Ghafurun and Rahimun

Say, "I do not find in that which is communicated to me, anything made unlawful for an eater to eat except that it be what has died of itself, or flowing blood, or flesh of swine, for that is certainly unclean; or exceeding the limits (by) invoking on the (food, the name of someone) other than Allah; but whoever is helplessly necessitated (to eat), neither desiring nor exceeding the limits, then your Fosterer is certainly Protectively Forgiving, Merciful.
